Pop singer Rita Ora sued her management company, Roc Nation, back in December, claiming that the company morphed into a sports-management company and thereby developed priorities beyond nurturing its music artists.

Ora’s lawsuit argued that the changes affected her career and essentially made her contract with the company null and void. She wanted out of her management agreement.

According to TMZ, Roc Nation—an entity spearheaded by Jay Z—is returning the gesture in kind. It’s suing Ora—the report doesn’t say specifically for how much—because it claims that she was obligated to release five albums and she’s released only one.

The company’s lawsuit indicated that it had shelled out more than $2 million to promote Ora’s second album, which never came out, and that it wants that money back.

But according to TMZ, Howard King, Ora’s attorney, says that Jay Z agreed to release Ora from her contract—which has TMZ reporting that it thinks Roc Nation will likely rescind its lawsuit.
