“Bad boys, bad boys, whatchu gonna do? Whatchu gonna do when they come for you?” Seems as though the police in Rio de Janeiro aren't playing when it comes to Ryan Lochte's lies. Lochte has been charged by Brazilian police with filing a false report over the gas station incident that occurred during the Rio Olympics.

On Aug. 14, Lochte, along with teammates Jack Conger, Gunnar Bentz and Jimmy Feigen, said they were robbed at a Rio gas station, but eventually their story was found to have been a big lie. Lochte fled Brazil, still holding on to his lie, but his teammates ’fessed up.

Lochte eventually said he had "overexaggerated" the story.

According to USA Today, Lochte's attorney said he hadn't received any official papers from Rio regarding the charge.

“I’m endeavoring to obtain more information, and we intend to fully cooperate with the government, as we have all along,” Jeffrey Ostrow told USA Today.

If convicted, Lochte could receive up to six months in jail. And so far, Lochte has lost two of his biggest sponsors, Ralph Lauren and Speedo.
