Congratulations to Beyoncé and Jay-Z, who welcomed a baby girl on Saturday night, according to E! Online.
The couple's friends were the first to break the news on Twitter. From Russell Simmons: "congrats to my good friends Beyoncé and Jay-Z." Rihanna tweeted: "Welcome to the world princess Carter. Love Aunty Rih."
As for the baby's name? E! reports that her name is "Blue Ivy," while Twitter trending topics, and other news sources, including the New York Daily News, are saying her name is "Ivy Blue." Of course, with Twitter fueling the flames, folks are already starting to decipher the meaning behind Babyoncé's name. And even trying to come up with better names for her.
