The Miami Herald is reporting that the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, 68, is suffering from cancer. The National Enquirer reported Wednesday that Franklin was diagnosed recently with pancreatic cancer, which has a 5 percent to 10 percent overall survival rate. The legend had surgery last week and a prayer vigil was held for her in her hometown of Detroit. Relatives have confirmed that she has cancer. Keeping the Queen of Soul in our thoughts and prayers.
