Being racist is good. Being pro-choice is bad, according to TheBlaze. And that apparently has led to Tomi Lahren’s suspension from the conservative digital network.
Lahren appeared on The View on Friday and said that she was “pro-choice” and noted that anti-abortion conservatives were hypocrites.
“I am pro-choice, and here’s why,” Lahren said. “I am someone that loves the Constitution, I am someone that’s for limited government, so I can’t sit here and be a hypocrite and say I’m for limited government but I think that the government should decide what women do with their bodies. I can sit here and say that as a Republican, and I can say, ‘You know what? I’m for limited government, so stay out of my guns and you can stay out of my body as well,’” she said.
Those comments caused TheBlaze founder Glenn Beck to basically call her stupid—well, “intellectually dishonest”—on his talk show.
“Tomi’s show will not be in production this week,” TheBlaze Managing Editor Leon Wolf said in an email, according to the Dallas Morning News.
The Daily Caller noted that Lahren’s suspension is “in effect for at least one week,” and that even though “Lahren’s contract with the company goes until September ... she may leave the company before then.”
Well, I’m sure there’s an opening at Fox News for her.
