A hairstylist, Maryam Simpson, 35, was arrested Monday, almost two weeks after authorities say she pepper-sprayed a client after she expressed that she was unhappy with the haircut Simpson gave her, according to the New York Daily News.

Simpson, who advertised her hairstyling services online, was working at the client's apartment when the two began arguing because the client was unhappy with her haircut.

According to authorities, Simpson then sprayed her client in the face with pepper spray and ran out of the apartment.
