Bobby Brown, father of 21-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown, is pushing to keep her on life support, although several of her organs are failing, according to the New York Daily News, which cites several media reports.

On Saturday, TMZ.com and RadarOnline.com reported that Bobbi Kristina’s organs were starting to shut down, but Brown wants to keep her on life support, according to the News.

Bobbi Kristina, who grew up in the spotlight alongside her superstar parents Bobby Brown and late pop diva Whitney Houston, has been on life support for nearly three weeks, soon after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Roswell, Ga., home, reports say.

Her father is insisting on using machines to keep her breathing in hopes that the power of prayer will grant a miracle, reports say. Relatives are remaining supportive of Brown, though some see his efforts as futile, the News writes. The grim prognosis comes nearly a week after some relatives said that Bobbi Kristina was showing progress.

The aspiring actress and singer never regained consciousness after a friend and her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, allegedly discovered her facedown in the water and not breathing in the bathtub, in a situation similar to that of her mother at her death three years ago. Houston drowned in a bathtub at a Beverly Hills hotel in February 2012, the News notes.
