Stacie Turner
From the Washington Post: The only African-American woman headlining the cast, Turner, 42, is also the only 'Housewife' with much connection to local politics. Her husband, Jason, worked in D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty's administration, but left amid political drama in the parks department. The two have also hosted fundraisers. She's a Howard University grad and a Harvard MBA, who worked in marketing at BET and other companies before becoming a real-estate agent with Long & Foster. They have two young children and live in a former 16th Street Heights church that they renovated into a mansion.
Michaele Salahi
From the Washington Post: Even before she and husband Tareq turned up at the White House state dinner uninvited, the couple had local notoriety for their flamboyant lifestyle and a long-running feud with Tareq's parents over their Oasis Winery in Fauquier County. Michaele was raised in suburban Oakton, and worked at Nordstrom department store before marrying Tareq in a splashy 2003 ceremony. The Salahis remain under state and federal investigation for the White House incident and their business practices.

Michelle Fenty
Washington wife Michelle Fenty may be the most obvious choice for the Housewives cast. As an attorney and wife of current D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty, Michelle would lead the ensemble with her flair for fashion. Washingtonian magazine named her one of D.C.'s 10 Best Dressed Women. Her dazzling attire would be nice eye candy for each episode.

Cora Masters Barry
Cora Masters Barry is the fourth ex-wife of former D.C. Mayor Marion Barry. The couple split in 2003 after Marion was charged with yet another drug offense, but Cora still gets our vote for the Housewives gig. She saw him through his tumultuous second mayorship and remains heavily involved in charity work—a virtual prerequisite for Washington socialite status.
Michelle Obama
She's known as one of the country's most fit, stylish and educated women. With an entire wing of the White House dedicated to her endeavors, First Lady Michelle Obama is Washington's most high-powered housewife. We couldn't help but add her to the ensemble.
Bill Clinton
Every Housewives season needs a token cast member. Former President Bill Clinton fits the bill. Though he has ceded much of the spotlight to his wife, U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, this "househusband" is still making waves with his frequent speaking engagements and charity work. As king of controversy, he's sure to spice up the cast.
