Hello Beautiful is reporting that Raven Symone will returning to television as the lead role in a new ABC comedy series, The Great State of Georgia.
It's described as a "multi-cam series about an exuberant plus-sized performer from the South and her science geek best friend who try to make headway in New York City." Wait a minute. She's still considered "plus-sized" after all that weight loss? Hollywood is rough.
Luckily, Raven has always had a healthy sense of self-esteem. Remember when she said, "I thought I looked fabulous before and nobody else did. So, whatever"?
We can think of a few actresses who could take a lesson in body image — not to mention gracefully transitioning from child-star fame — from this celeb.
