A woman is suing rapper The Game, claiming that he damaged her reputation with a post he made about her on Instagram, Facebook's social picture- and video-sharing app, the Hollywood Reporter is reporting.
He reportedly posted a picture of Karen Monroe, who once worked for The Game as a babysitter, with a caption reading, "Beware if this person is watching your children, she is a very dangerous babysitter." He also reportedly used Twitter to rant about her services. The Game fired Monroe for "lying, stealing, screaming at his children, mistreating other children," and doing things "unbecoming of a babysitter."
More than 1 million followers have seen the picture The Game posted, and Monroe is now suing him, claiming that she is receiving death threats from his fans and being harassed online. She also alleges that because of the hoopla, she has suffered depression and is now unable to work in the industry. She's after an unspecified amount in damages.
