It’s not everyday that you see rapper Scarface in headlines or as the topic of conversation on social media, but that’s exactly what happened over the weekend thanks to an alarming post.

On Saturday, the “I Seen A Man Die” rapper posted a photo to Instagram of himself in the hospital hooked up to various monitors while an unidentified nurse performed aid. While he didn’t cite any specific illness or give much of an explanation as to why he was there, his caption was straight to the point.

“You got a lot of LOVE in your corner. We got this,” wrote Sway Calloway.

Over on X/Twitter, the positive messages continued with rapper Kid Cudi saying: “Prayers up for Scarface the legend.”

If you’ll remember, in 2021, the “Guess Who’s Back” rapper was back in the hospital for a kidney transplant about a year after he was diagnosed with COVID. Scarface told fans during an Instagram Live session at the time that the disease resulted in him being in the hospital for three weeks, coming down with pneumonia in both his lungs and ultimately suffering kidney failure.
