The Illinois Supreme Court has ruled that former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel meets the residency requirements to remain on the ballot in Chicago’s mayoral race. This reverses a lower court’s decision that he was ineligible to run because he moved to D.C. two years ago.
