Puff Daddy Creates #DiddySpeechHU for Help Writing Howard Commencement Speech

Last week it was announced that Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs would be Howard University’s 2014 commencement speaker and would also receive an honorary doctorate in humanities at the ceremony. Some people questioned why Howard would give a college dropout a chance at the mic. Never mind the fact that Combs was seemingly able to flip an internship into one of the most successful music careers ever. There’s no doubting the fact that he’s an astute businessman, with or without a Howard University degree.

So how does one prepare for his or her first commencement address? If you’re Combs, you enlist the help of social media. Late last night, Combs asked his Twitter followers for help crafting his speech:
