Most parents who are vying for the “Parent of the Year” award at their kid’s school bake chocolate chip cookies for go-away games, volunteer to be a chaperone on school trips or write a fat check to buy the entire soccer team new jerseys.
But not Beyoncé. She steps it up a notch and donates what probably comes easy to her: a performance.
According to YBF, Beyoncé performed an entire set at some sort of gala event that was reportedly hosted by Blue Ivy’s private elementary school in Los Angeles. Someone who was in attendance posted a clip of Queen Bey’s performance on YouTube.
Beyoncé performed Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” and her own hit song “Crazy in Love.”
The event was held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. If this was indeed a gala event hosted by a grade school, it’s pretty rad that it was held at the Staples Center. Then again, reports say that the school costs approximately $15,000 a year to attend.
Hey, if Beyoncé deemed the school good enough for her baby girl and she’s satisfied with the education, perhaps this is her way of saying thank you.
