Up until this past November, Prince was an active voice on social media via his Twitter account and Facebook page, but those profiles have been deactivated or deleted, so it’s hard keeping track of his comings and goings when it comes to music. But according to his publicist, the Purple One is gearing up to release a tribute song to Baltimore and Freddie Gray.
The song is said to be a tribute to the people of Baltimore and will address prevalent political and social issues that exist throughout the country.
Prince’s Paisley Park Studios has not yet announced a release date, but he has certainly never lacked an element of surprise. Something tells me this song will be released sooner rather than later.
