Twenty lucky students in Chicago were treated to British and American (well, at least for us) royalty as Prince Harry and Michelle Obama came through with a surprise visit to a South Side high school located across from the future site of the Obama Presidential Center.

According to a statement provided by Michelle Obama’s office, the wide-ranging conversation between the former first lady, the prince and the students at Hyde Park Academy lasted for more than an hour and covered how the center will showcase the South Side of Chicago to the world.

ABC News reports that Michelle Obama wanted to highlight some of the future leaders at the predominantly black high school, who will participate in the Obama Foundation’s work.

Prince Harry was in town to kick off the foundation’s Inaugural Summit. Later that evening, former President Barack Obama joined the conversation during a discussion panel where the prince spoke about coming to value public service and how he wants to use his platform to “normalize the discussion of mental health.”

Other speakers during the evening included Chance the Rapper and legendary labor leader and civil rights activist Dolores Huerta.
