Prince has announced plans to perform at a Rally 4 Peace concert in Baltimore Sunday at the Royal Farms Arena in support of the recent uprising in Baltimore.
“In a spirit of healing, the event is meant to be a catalyst for pause and reflection following the outpouring of violence that has gripped Baltimore and areas throughout the U.S.,” the press release reads. “As a symbolic message of our shared humanity and love for one another, attendees are invited to wear something gray in tribute to all those recently lost in the violence.”

Prince will be joined by his band 3rdEyeGirl, and according to the venue, other unnamed acts will perform. A portion of the proceeds from the concert will benefit Baltimore-based youth charities. Attendees are urged to wear the color gray, and tickets will go on sale today. Last week it was reported that Prince was also making a Freddie Gray tribute song, which has not been released but quite possibly will be performed on Sunday.
