On Wednesday, for no apparent reason other than that he’s a xenophobic piece of garbage who openly hates an entire religious group with a passion seen only by white men wearing hoods (or khakis) and wielding torches, the president of the United States retweeted Islamophobic posts from Britain’s far-right, fascist party, Britain First.
The videos, which will not be posted here, were captioned: “Muslim migrant beats up Dutch boy on crutches!” “Muslim destroys a statue of Virgin Mary!” and “Islamist mob pushes teenage boy off roof and beats him to death!”
There is no proof that any of the men in the videos were, in fact, Muslim, but what has been proved is that “ultranationalist British party leader, Jayda Fransen [...] has previously been charged in the United Kingdom with ‘religious aggravated harassment,’” the New York Times reports.
According to reports, Fransen was charged and found guilty in a November 2016 incident in which she approached a Muslim mother with her four children and told her that Muslim men force their women to cover up to avoid being raped “because they cannot control their sexual urges,” and adding, “That’s why they are coming into my country raping women across the continent,” Newsweek reports.
And because the president is a schizophrenic with the attention span of a bee in a honey pot, after sharing the videos, Trump then tweeted, “Boycott Fake News CNN” and hailed “another great day for the stock market.”
At some point, something has to be done about the vitriol and hatred coming from this White House, which is openly anti-Muslim and dangerous.
