President Barack Obama has proved once again that he’s imperturbable when it comes to his haters. If he can deal with those in the Senate, the ones on Twitter are easy. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night, the president read some mean tweets during the show’s popular “Mean Tweets” segment.

“Is there any way we can fly Obama to some golf course half-way around the world and just leave him there?” tweeted @RWSurferGirl.

And yes, @RWSurferGirl was proud that her tweet was read:

The fact that she called that a win for conservatives is actually even funnier. I guess they take wins however they can get them.

One Twitter user even blamed Obama for Coors Light being expensive.

“A 30 rack of Coors Light is $23 now at Sun Stop. Thanks, Obama,” @campaignrpoz tweeted.

The Twitter user’s dream came true, and he finally got his 15 minutes of fame.

But Thursday night’s show wasn’t all about the laughs. During his sit-down with Kimmel, the president reflected on the shooting of two police officers in Ferguson, Mo. “What had been happening in Ferguson was oppressive and objectionable and was worthy of protest, but there was no excuse for criminal acts,” he said.

“Whoever fired those shots should not detract from the issue—they are criminals, they need to be arrested,” he continued. “And then what we need to do is make sure that like-minded, good-spirited people on both sides—law enforcement, who have a terrifically tough job, and people who understandably don’t want to be stopped and harassed just because of their race—that they are able to work together to come up with some good answers.”

The president’s appearance on Thursday night’s Kimmel was to make up for an appearance he canceled last year. Needless to say, it was definitely worth the wait.
