Our 44th president brought in his 55th birthday in straight Leo style on Friday night: with a big ole party.

Famously tight-lipped about the Obamas’ personal life, the White House did concede this much:

“The first lady is hosting a 55th birthday celebration for [President Barack Obama] at the White House,” a rep for the White House remarked. “The guest list includes a large number of family members and friends to mark the occasion.”

But those “family and friends” included some of the biggest entertainers and athletes on the set today.

Reported guests included Beyoncé, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi, Sarah Jessica Parker, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Magic Johnson, Alonzo Mourning, Usher, Al Sharpton, Samuel and LaTonya Jackson, Nick Jonas, Al Roker, Deborah Roberts, Grant Hill, Tamia and George Lucas—and those were just the celebs.

Politicians expected to attend included Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, Vice President Joe Biden, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, senior adviser David Alexrod and Democratic National Committee interim Chair Donna Brazile.

Although the White House kept details of the party as hush-hush as possible, even celebrities got geeked and put up posts on social media before, during and after the event.

#AboutLastNight Our President knows how to throw a great party, we had so much fun, I can barely walk today, LOL! Happy Birthday Mr. President @barackobama!!!
