On Monday police were called to an apartment complex in Los Angeles after reports of gunshots and screaming. Upon arriving, they found the bodies of rapper Earl Hayes and his wife, Stephanie Moseley. According to reports, Hayes, who had affiliations with Floyd Mayweather, accused his wife of cheating before killing her and then turning the gun on himself.

According to the Daily News, the Los Angeles Police Department now wants to hear from Mayweather. It’s alleged that Hayes was on FaceTime with the boxer when he killed his wife. Hayes apparently called Mayweather using the Apple video app and was complaining about his wife’s infidelities before losing it. Moseley was shot in the bathtub.

“We’re reaching out to Floyd Mayweather, trying to set up an interview,” Detective Scott Masterson told the Daily News on Tuesday. “We haven’t spoken with him yet. We’re trying to set something up.” Sources say that Mayweather was in shock over what he witnessed, but the shock didn’t prevent him from attending Monday’s Los Angeles Clippers game.

Moseley was an accomplished dancer who toured with Britney Spears and Chris Brown. She also appeared on the VH1 show Hit the Floor. Hayes reportedly had an especially hard time getting over the alleged affair he accused his wife of having with R&B singer Trey Songz.

Hayes, 34, and Moseley, 30, were married in 2008.
