This summer, a man stole two elderly women's wallets on two different instances in Maryland and bought almost $12,000 worth of items on their credit cards, the Washington Post reports.

The man stole a 71-year-old woman's wallet in Bethesda in July and charged a $5,000 blue Santa Cruz bicycle to one of her credit cards.

In the second incident, the same man is believed to have stolen a wallet from a 74-year-old woman while she was shopping in the North Potomac area in August. This time around, he spent about $5,900, which included a $3,500 men's watch.
