A 68-year-old Chicago woman shot at 12-year-old boy who, along with a 13-year-old friend, had broken out the windows of her house. The woman, identified as "Miss Margaret," had been harassed by the boys before and had called the police, to no avail. She and a neighbor allege that they had set her trash can on fire and broken out windows before. On Tuesday, Miss Margaret had had enough after returning from the grocery store and finding all of her windows broken. The boys came back to the house. When she went to confront them on the porch, she alleges that they began screaming obscenities and throwing bricks at her. Miss Margaret pulled out her gun and opened fire at the young boys, hitting the 12-year-old in the shoulder. The boy's grandmother says that he and his friend were just walking down the street when Miss Margaret shot them for no reason. Police have charged the boys with aggravated assault. Miss Margaret will not face charges. Well, we'll borrow heavily from Chris Rock and say that we don't condone shooting a 12-year-old boy, but if he was doing what he is accused of doing, we understand.
