It’s no understatement to say that Drake knows how to leverage a viral moment—or give shine where it’s deserved. After social media star Shiggy caused the “In My Feelings” challenge to become an international phenomenon, Drake did him one better, making Shiggy one of the hilarious cameos in his official video, which premiered on Thursday night.
La La Anthony, Yung Miami (who also has a feature), Big Freedia and a slew of other celebs make appearances in the New Orleans-set, twerk-filled video, which also features a montage of “In My Feelings” challenges—including Will Smith’s epic performance. But for us, the biggest scene stealer is Phylicia Rashad, who proves she’s lost none of her iconic mom sass since leaving the role of Clair Huxtable 26 years ago.
“Hello? I want you to get your Jordans off my walkway,” she yells at Drake, as he attempts to woo her onscreen daughter, La La (who plays the now-infamous “Keke”). “This not a Taye Diggs movie, sir; you’re a grown man! Carry your ass on home, now. I want you to leave—and don’t forget to go when you leave!”
It’s a moment of pure comedy from the revered actress and director, and the perfect foil to Champagne Papi’s “Aww, shucks” antics. Honestly, we could’ve watched that exchange all day—and after all these years, it’s good to know that Rashad’s fuckboi meter is still as finely tuned as ever.
