Turns out, the Philly fan who flipped off Russell Westbrook during a recent game is a North Philadelphia urologist who “whitesplained” why he decided to yell, "F—k you" to the OKC guard.

According to Philly.com, Richard Harkaway spent thousands of bucks to flip off Westbrook, only to be escorted from his seat. On his way out, someone shouted, "You're going to be an internet hero!" Harkaway then found the nearest camera and yelled, "You like that?!"

He wasn't thrown out of the game, as he should have been, but he was taken to another seat from which he was allowed to watch the rest of the game.

Harkaway said in a statement issued to Philly.com that he was merely responding to a comment that Westbrook made to him.

"As a part-time comedian, I realize that my words and actions are sometimes inappropriate," Harkaway's statement read. "In this instance, after standing up to boo and being provoked by Russell Westbrook calling attention to my being overweight, my action in response was clearly inexcusable and I am embarrassed. I sincerely apologize to my fellow Sixers fans, the Sixers organization, my colleagues and patients, and to Mr. Westbrook for my behavior."

Harkaway added that when not working, he really does stand-up comedy, having opened up for former Howard Stern radio co-host Jackie "the Jokeman" Martling.
