It looks as though Phaedra Parks isn’t planning to put anything on Apollo Nida’s books in prison. Parks, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has reportedly started proceedings to end her marriage to Nida.

According to E! Online, Parks is ending her five-year marriage to the recently convicted Nida and has “retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage.”

Earlier this summer, Nida was sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit mail, wire and bank fraud. After Nida was sentenced, he somewhat predicted that his marriage wouldn’t last.

“I think Phaedra, in a perfect world, should be supportive as a wife should be. … But if she chooses to derail from the plan, then that’s what she chooses to do,” he said of Parks. “Apollo is prepared for whatever happens in life. Whatever’s been thrown at me, I deal with it. I would like to say I would want her to stay around and do what a wife should do. But tomorrow’s not promised.”

Parks will make an appearance on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show Oct. 15 to discuss her marriage to Nida.
