Shortly after President Barack Obama delivered his annual State of the Union address Tuesday night, Steven Andrew decided to upload his own message—“God’s State of the Union: Restoring God’s Blessings”—to counter Obama’s, the Raw Story reports.
In the address, the USA Christian Ministries pastor slammed the president for promoting "homosexual sin," citing it as evidence that the president has a vision to "follow Satan" that brings down God’s wrath on Americans.
"We want to seek God with all of our heart and soul," he says. "We want to obey the Holy Bible with all of our heart and soul, and we want Jesus as our king. This is how you restore God’s blessings. People like Barack Obama have a totally different vision of America. His vision is to follow Satan."
He said that Obama was not a part of the Kingdom of God, which was obvious because of all of the president’s "sins."
Andrew also proclaimed that putting Jesus Christ first and promising to serve God would help the country’s debt go away: "Americans right now are suffering. There are great economic problems in the United States of America. We have the biggest debt in the world. How is this going to go away? This debt is going to go away by humbling ourselves before the Lord and not by serving Mammon but by putting Jesus Christ first."
The pastor also told his audience that Obamacare was un-Christian.
"Do you know that 180 million Americans have rejected Obamacare?" Andrews says. "They don’t want it, in one way or another. And the reason is because it’s non-Christian."
The pastor also pointed out in the address, which lasted just under 15 minutes, that the covenant that the United States has had with God since the nation’s founding is proved in the phrase on the dollar: "In God We Trust."
"You have the right to liberty, and this liberty is Christian liberty," he said. "All of our Founding Fathers used words that are found in the King James Bible. Liberty means this law of love, where, as a Christian, I’m not going to force you to do something against your conscience.
"And you have the right to the pursuit of happiness," he added. "This is what it means to be an American: You can serve God how God wants you to serve him according to the Bible. You can prosper, you can make money, you can have your own business, you own your land."
