Andre Price Jr., 23, of McKeesport, Pa., was charged Thursday with two felony counts for failing to alert authorities after his partner, Christian Clark, 21, threatened to kill their toddler son before allegedly carrying out the act, the New York Daily News reports.
Clark has reportedly admitted to smothering their 17-month-old son on Tuesday after arguing with Price about babysitting their son and daughter.
According to the Daily News, Clark sent Price a video showing their son lifeless and facedown on a bed.
"Ahh, look, Angel is still alive and sweating your son on the other hand is not even breathing," she reportedly said in the video. "I wish I could keep the camera still."
Price never contacted the authorities or emergency responders.
The 17-month-old baby boy died at a hospital late Tuesday after Clark decided to call 911 herself.
Late Thursday, Price was awaiting arraignment on charges of endangering the welfare of a child while being held at the Allegheny County (Pa.) Jail.
