A 21-year-old Orlando, Fla., karate instructor was arrested after an 11-year-old student's mother found lewd messages on his phone, police say, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Stephannie Figueroa, who works at Next-Gen Xtreme Martial Arts, now faces charges of attempted lewd or lascivious conduct, solicitation and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, showing a minor obscene material, and child abuse.

According to police, the 11-year-old's mother opened a messaging app called Kik on her son's phone June 15 and found the inappropriate messages. When the mother asked the boy about the messages, the boy told her that Figueroa had sent him nude pictures of herself, as well as photos of her "private parts," and had been flirting with him.

After the child's mother called the police, the boy told police that Figueroa had told him a few times that she liked him and started "making advances" in February.

Last week Figueroa sent him a message inviting him to her 21st birthday party, saying that no one else would be at the home.

"I want to have sex with you," Figueroa allegedly wrote, according to police.

"OK IDC," the boy responded, using the abbreviation for "I don't care."

The boy told authorities that he had received some 14 nude or partially nude photos of the karate instructor but that they had already been deleted.

Investigators believe that there could be other victims, a police spokesperson told the Sentinel.
