As the world was still trying to cope with Infected Boil becoming president-elect, Oprah Winfrey tried to offer a few words of hope on social media. But that didn't work out too well for her.

Winfrey posted a photo to Twitter of President-elect Dead Slug meeting with President Barack Obama:

Needless to say, people went Dave Chappelle and basically said, "F—k your hope."

Winfrey addressed her Twitter drama during a screening of Ava DuVernay's Netflix documentary 13th. And said she wished she had used a better word.

“Y’all heard about my tweet problems?” Winfrey asked a crowd Sunday in Los Angeles.

“I couldn’t breathe after the election,” she said. “I was expecting tension, awkwardness and strain. So when I saw them sitting together, I actually took a picture of the screen that said, ‘President-elect Trump honored to meet Obama.’ And President Obama was being so gracious, and I heard Donald Trump say, ‘He’s a good man.’ I heard Donald Trump say, ‘I’m going to be seeking his counsel.’ I literally went [deep breath], I can breathe now.”

Yeah, it's easy to breathe when you're sleeping on billions.

“My mistake, and this is what I know to be true: You can never talk about everybody,” Winfrey added. “Even in your arguments with your husband and your children. Don’t talk about what you should do, what you ought to do—you can only speak for yourself. So what I should have said was, ‘I just took a breath.’ What I said was, ‘Everybody take a breath—#HopeLives.’”

Winfrey said she wished she had used the word "civility" instead of "hope."

But even then, there's nothing civil about President-elect Foot Fungus.
