You would have had to be living under a rock for the past few weeks to have not heard rumors swirling that media mogul Oprah Winfrey and her bff Gayle King are on the outs. Wendy "the Queen of All Media" Williams has been talking about the "rocky friendship" to such an extent that she prompted Winfrey to write a letter to Williams in which she disputes the claim.
In the letter, Winfrey's representative writes:
"I know there's speculation that Gayle and Oprah had a falling out because Gayle will be hosting the new morning show on CBS. I wanted to make sure everyone knows that there is only happiness for Gayle and this wonderful opportunity."
We're not sure why people care about Oprah and Gayle's friendship or feud, but Winfrey clearly cares that Williams is mouthing off about her business. Now that Lady O has set the record straight in writing, we're hoping that folks will move on with their lives.
