AOL BlackVoices.com reports that reality-TV star Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth received her preacher's license this past Sunday and has been named assistant pastor of the Weller Street Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, where she is a member:
"Sunday was a very special day for me in terms of my ministry and spiritual growth," the one-named TV talent told us exclusively. "God is in control and I'm moving in divine direction!"
The 37-year-old star of 'The Apprentice' and 'Celebrity Apprentice' has been a member of the K.W. Tulloss-led Weller Street Missionary Baptist Church for two years.
"I love my church! It's a small little church, but God is doing big things," she shared.
Omarosa wrote a book called The Bitch Switch: Knowing How to Turn it On and Off. We’re guessing hers will need to be set to the off position these days (or at least on Sunday mornings). Her response to those having trouble squaring her bad-girl reputation with her spiritual life: "Like the gospel song says, 'My Worship Is for Real!"
