When Phyllis Jefferson, 50, an Ohio woman, saw that her boyfriend had eaten all the salsa they were sharing, she stabbed him with a pen, a report claims, and then went to get a small kitchen knife and stabbed 61-year-old Ronnie Buckner again in the stomach, NBC News reports.

According to reports, between stabbing Buckner with the pen and then the knife, Jefferson reportedly tried to knock the TV that Buckner was watching onto him.

Jefferson fled the scene after the Sunday-afternoon incident. Police found Buckner bleeding inside his Akron home. He was soon rushed to a hospital. Buckner's injuries are not life threatening, according to NBC affiliate WKYC.

Police later found Jefferson on a nearby highway and arrested her, although she told authorities that she stabbed her boyfriend because “she wanted to leave,” NBC News reports.
