According to WDTN, police arrested Daniel Gregory Schooler, who is now being held at the Montgomery County Jail, where he is expected to be charged with murder Monday in the death of his 70-year-old brother.

Witnesses told the news station that the shooting occurred shortly after the pastor left the pulpit and went to his office. The shots sent the congregation of about 20 running for cover.

The Rev. Schooler, who once served as a member of the Dayton Public School Board of Education, was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy was scheduled for Monday, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office, WDTN reports.
