In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
Later in the morning, the President will deliver remarks urging Congress to vote to end the billions in taxpayer dollars handed out to oil companies every year. The Senate is scheduled to vote on legislation on Thursday. The President will also highlight how those tax dollars could be better spent on clean energy and American innovation. The President's remarks in the Rose Garden are open press.
