A public service announcement to African Americans from the apparently unstable musician who was investigated by the Secret Service for threatening that he'd either be "dead or in jail" if President Obama won re-election, but who is currently very much alive, free and opinionated: Ted Nugent says at WorldNetDaily that black American politicians need to realize that "dirty Democrat politicians are their true enemy, not their salvation."
A little more of his, um, "unique" point of view, which no one requested: After proclaiming that he "honor[s] blacks" every day, he said, "With February being Black History Month, historians looking back at this timeframe studying black Americans will judge it as a complete and total disaster. And they won't blame President Bush … Barack Obama, the guy who received roughly 93 percent of black American votes, is the clear and present engineer of the destruction of black America."
Well, here's to free speech. However — and we hope this news doesn't lead to any more crazy threats on Nugent's part — it's safe to say that this gun-toting crooner in a cowboy hat isn't going to become the next African-American thought leader.
