Updated on January 13 as of 5:30p.m.PT: Just one day after Lisa Bonet filed for divorce from Jason Momoa, the two have finalized the dissolution of their marriage.
Per TMZ, the two will share joint physical custody of their two children and share in the living expenses. Neither side will receive any form of spousal or child support. What’s interesting to note is that despite the divorce documents being signed, sealed, delivered and official—the two won’t officially be back on the market—a.k.a. legally declared single until July 2023.

In the first celebrity break-up news of 2024, Lisa Bonet has officially filed for divorce from Jason Momoa.
If this news sounds eerily familiar, it’s because the two initially announced their split around the top of 2023 in a since-deleted joint post to Instagram.
“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times.… A revolution is unfolding—and our family is of no exception,” the statement began back in January. “Feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. But just a month later, rumors surfaced that the two were reportedly were working on their relationship and had moved back in together.
Now, however, according to People, Lisa has officially set things in motion for their divorce. On Monday, it was revealed she filed for a dissolution of marriage, listing their date of separation as Oct. 7, 2020. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split and asked for joint child custody and no spousal support for either side.
Depending on when the divorce is finalized, Lisa will be joining a handful of celeb women who will be having a “hot girl summer” as bachelorettes: Tia Mowry, Lupita Nyong’o, Lori Harvey, Tina Knowles and more. However, if the “Cosby Show” star is looking for potential romantic prospects, she might want to consider some eligible bachelors such as Marlon Wayans, Laz Alonso, Andre 3000, Trevor Noah, or her old boo Lenny Kravitz.
