Noodles & Co. Employees Fired Over Refusal to Serve Police Officer

On Wednesday it was reported that Noodles & Co. agreed to post signs on its doors indicating that it supports blue lives after an altercation during which one of the restaurant's cooks and cashiers refused to serve a female police officer in Alexandria, Va.

The Washington Post has since reported that both employees have been fired because of their inappropriate behavior toward the officer.

Noodles & Co. released a statement saying, "We have concluded the two team members in question acted inappropriately and we immediately terminated their employment."

As reported by the Post, the manager of the Alexandria branch of the restaurant apologized to the chief of the Alexandria Police Department, Earl Cook, on Tuesday after he went to the restaurant to speak with him. The company also apologized to the female officer who was involved.
