Comedian Nikki Glaser is in hot water after her questionable joke about Sean “Diddy” Combs at the 2025 Golden Globes.

On Sunday night, the 82nd Golden Globes were filled with questionable snubs, deserved victories, and awkward moments, especially from the show’s host.

While jokes from the award show’s hosts are always heavily criticized, this one did not seem to land with people on social media and the people directly involved.

At one point during her opening monologue, Glaser uses the 2024 movie Challengers, to take a shot at the disgraced music mogul, saying, “Challengers girl it was so good. That movie was more sexually charged than Diddy’s credit card.”

She then insinuates that people will miss Diddy’s alleged “freak-off” parties, saying, “Sorry I’m upset too, the after-parties are not going to be as good this year… Stanley Tucci freak-off doesn’t have the same ring to it… No baby oil this year, just lots of olive oil.”

Glaser continued with the questionable jokes later in the night, saying, “I predict, five years from now, when you’re watching old clips of this show on YouTube, you’ll see someone in one of the crowd shots, and you’ll go, ‘Oh my god, that was before they caught that guy.’ We could be making history tonight, and, like, we don’t even know with who.”

The attorneys of some of Diddy’s accusers were especially angry over the insensitive jokes. Ariel Mitchell, the attorney who represents Ashley Parham, told TMZ that she hopes Glaser hasn’t been sexually assaulted and later mocked for it.

She also stated that Glaser should know better as a woman than to make jokes about an alleged rape.

Tyrone Blackburn, the attorney who represents Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, also spoke to TMZ, saying Glaser should be talented enough to make jokes that don’t make fun of sexual assault.

Many viewers at home also took offense to Glaser’s jokes about Diddy and expressed their feelings on social media.

One user wrote on X, “We’re sick of hypocritical, racist, and unfunny white women comedians like @NikkiGlaser arguing against sexism in Hollywood. All while joking about the rape, sexual assault, and drugging of Black women by rapist Diddy.”

We’ll have to wait and see if Glaser or the Golden Globes apologizes for anything said at the award show.
