It appears a “battle of the Barbz” is brewing between Nicki Minaj and one of her highly vocal fans. According to court documents obtained by TMZ on Monday, the “Gag City” rapper is being sued by a longtime fan named Tameer Peak over allegations of “reputational harm, emotional distress and financial loss.” He’s seeking $5 million in damages.

In the suit, Peak claims the issues between he and Minaj started in 2017 when she went through her “Nicki Hate Train” phase and accused fans like Peak of being “paid moles” and alleged they’d been sent to sabotage her.

He went on to also cite an instance where the “Itty Bitty Piggy” rapper allegedly embarrassed him in front of her thousands of followers during an Instagram Live session. At a Super Bowl 2020 event, he claims that her husband Kenneth Petty also allegedly berated him and that she messaged him about it after the fact on social media.

Fast forward to this year, Peak claims that Minaj allegedly made references and comments alluding to him being mentally unstable, getting government assistance, and labeled him a “stalker” during several Stationhead livestreams thus resulting to this new suit.

However, the “FTCU” rapper doesn’t seem too shaken by the suit as evidenced by her lawyer’s statement:

“Mr. Peak has been harassing Nicki on social media for years on end to no avail. He has now graduated to seeking to shake her down financially with manifestly false allegations and legally frivolous claims. He will regret having gone down this disreputable road when he is forced to pay her legal fees as required by California law.”

She also sent out a tweet mid-morning on Monday teasing new music for her fans, seemingly going about her day as usual.

“Well, Barbz- Didn’t really want to have to speak on this but I just can’t stay quiet about it any longer. Last night, I recorded what will probably be your favorite song on the deluxe. It will immediately go into your TOP 5 of the entire PF2 era. OH MY FREAKING GOODNESSWDRFFHJKGV,” she wrote.
