During the last leg of Beyoncé and Jay Z’s On the Run Tour, Nicki Minaj joined Beyoncé onstage to perform the remix of “Flawless.” It seems that the time Minaj spent with Beyoncé caused the “Anaconda” singer to reflect on life and the possibilities of starting a family.
Minaj, 32, discussed her future plans in a recent interview with L’Uomo Vogue magazine and revealed that she was inspired by Beyoncé, Jay Z and their daughter, Blue Ivy. “I don’t want to work my whole life without ever experiencing the joys of a family,” Minaj said. “The time is not yet ripe, but when I decide to get married and become a mother, I would like to take a hiatus and dedicate myself completely to my child.
“Seeing Beyoncé with her daughter and her husband was so tender, and it showed me that it is possible to be an animal onstage and a caring mother at the same time,” she continued.
Although Minaj said that she currently handles her own business affairs, she does want a traditional family with “an upright man who will take care of me.”
She added: “Family has always been very important to me, and that is why I want to wait until the right moment before starting my own. Right now I am too busy, but at a certain point the situation will change.”
