Just in time for your “new year, new you” resolutions, Kelly Rowland has dropped a limited-edition line with activewear company Fabletics.
According to Rowland, her collaboration with the brand is equally styled for working out or going out. The 16-piece collection features tops, leggings, and more in a muted palette dominated by burgundy, black, and mauve at jaw-droppingly low prices (if you sign up for the company’s VIP membership). But unfortunately for fuller-figured fans, Rowland’s capsule collection is predominantly limited to misses’ sizing, ranging from extra-small to extra-large—a disappointment, since Fabletics offers plus options elsewhere.
“Kelly Rowland represents the epitome of powerful femininity, which is why we are so proud to be able to collaborate with her!” Fabletics writes on the collection’s homepage. “This capsule collection was designed to empower women to stand tall and feel strength in their everyday with pieces that are made to move and make big moves in. The whole collection represents her own brand of personal style, complete with athletic silhouettes with an edgy attitude and a touch of sexy.”
Of course, Fabletics is no stranger to celebrity collaborations. The subscription-based brand was co-founded by actress Kate Hudson in 2013, and launched a collaboration with entertainer Demi Lovato in 2017. Since we’ve gone on record as loving Rowland’s personal style (and enviable muscle tone), we’re thrilled to see her becoming the latest star to get her own shine with the brand.
A word to the wise. If you’re planning to invest in a little Kelly Rowland for Fabletics to kick off 2019: Read the fine print on that VIP membership, as personal experience has taught me that it’s fairly iron-clad.
