One way to shake up a race for governor is to expose a candidate for unbelievably explicit comments he allegedly left on a porn website. For NC Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, this is now his reality after a bombshell CNN report stumbled upon Robinson’s alleged account from over a decade ago.
Robinson is no stranger to controversy, as the MAGA-backed politician is notorious for his divisive and borderline offensive political rhetoric, but this latest scandal truly has everybody shook! According to CNN, Robinson said everything from referring to himself as a “black NAZI” to calling former President Barack Obama “sh*t that’s in Washington right now!”
His alleged comments on the “Nude Africa” pornography website are a stark contrast to his typical political stances, but the differences are just as disturbing. So we thought we’d compare everything Robinson allegedly said online to what he’s said since his political career took off...
Alleged Transgender Fetish
Much of Robinson’s appeal lies in his right-wing social politics, which many critics say are incendiary. Of all of his outrageous claims, Robinson remains particularly critical of the transgender community.
He has referred to transgenderism as “filth,” according to the Fayetteville Observer. Robinson also said transgender women should be arrested for using women’s public restrooms. The list of his attacks on the LGBTQ+ community is long, believe us, but what makes his comments even more vile is his alleged fetish with the same community he says he hates.
According to CNN, Robinson said he enjoys watching transgender porn. He allegedly wrote, “I like watching tranny on girl porn! That’s f*cking hot! It takes the man out while leaving the man in!” Robinson even went on to allegedly refer to himself as a “perv.” If that’s not the pot calling the kettle black, then we don’t know what is.
Peeping Tom Allegations
Under the username @minisoldr, which Robinson apparently uses across the internet, it’s alleged Robinson said he still fantasizes about when he was 14 years old and secretly peeping on women in the gym showers.
“I came to a spot that was a dead end but had two big vent covers over it! It just so happened it overlooked the showers!” He continued, “I sat there for about an hour and watched as several girls came in and showered.”
“I went peeping again the next morning,” Robinson wrote. “but after that I went back the ladder was locked! So those two times where [sic] the only times I got to do it! Ahhhhh memories!!!!”
This is allegedly the same man who suggested homosexuality opens the door for the normalization of pedophilia. Although Robinson continues to deny these allegations against him, some claim this a clear example of hypocrisy.
Robinson on Abortion
The GOP nominee has been adamant on his strict stance on abortion. He’s pledged his support for the “heartbeat” bill which aims to ban abortion after a heartbeat is detected in pregnancy–around six weeks. But according to @minisoldr on Nude Africa, he doesn’t care.
In December 2010, Robinson allegedly commented “I don’t care. I just wanna see the sex tape!” on the topic of an unnamed celebrity having an abortion.
Since the CNN story was released, Robinson took to X to deny all of its’ claims. He said “the things you will see in that story, those are not the words of Mark Robinson,” and he has no plans to drop out of the gubernatorial race.
Robinson went on to blame is opponent NC Attorney General Josh Stein for allegedly leaking the “salacious tabloid trash” to the media. Stein nor his campaign have commented on the CNN report. Several polls from the Hill, the Carolina Journal, and the Telegraph put Stein ahead of Robinson with less than 50 days until the election.
