First of all, what did you think was going to happen? The lyrics of his most popular song begin:
I came here with my dick in my hand!
Don’t make me leave here with my foot in your ass!
Be cool! —“Shake Ya Ass”
Well, after a previous stint in jail for the same crime, rapper Mystikal turned himself in to New Orleans authorities Monday on rape allegations—or, as he put it, “to get this business rectified and get this behind me, man,” according to KSLA.
Mystikal, whose real name is Michael Lawerence Tyler, was wanted for first-degree rape, along with another man, Averweone Holman. Holman was arrested in Texas, and both he and the rapper are being held on $2 million bonds. Police are still searching for Tenichia Wafford for allegedly trying to strong-arm the victim into dropping the charges.
The alleged incident took place at a Shreveport, La., casino where Mystikal was performing on the Legends of Southern Hip Hop tour on Oct. 22, 2016. Police say they investigated the scene and found evidence linking him and Holman to the crime.
Mystikal served six years in prison, from 2003 to 2010, after pleading guilty to sexual battery and extortion. He served another three months in 2012 for domestic abuse battery. The literal soldier (he is an Army veteran), who apparently has no limits, is known for the music he made with No Limit Records in the early late 1990s and his hits “Shake Ya Ass” and “Danger.”
And raping ...
Allegedly.
