MSNBC's Tamron Hall has finally said what needed to be said about the media's role in the Shirley Sherrod debacle: We got it wrong. In an interview with Death+Taxes, Hall admits that getting the Shirley Sherrod story wrong was "a real kick in the gut for credible journalists." She also said, "[The media] should be ashamed of ourselves, at what happened. Even though it was a certain blogger that started an irresponsible journey, we didn’t stop it." And yet another reason to watch Tamron Hall — honesty and decency.
