Joy-Ann Reid is quickly becoming the face of sanity and standards in a news industry fast devolving into chaos as a presidential administration and its minions consistently push fake news and conspiracy theories.
On Sunday, President Donald Trump did his favorite thing and tried to deflect from the pending indictments of his cronies by going to his favorite targets: former President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. He tweeted about the Obama administration’s approval of a 2010 Uranium One deal, which the conservative press has said the mainstream media has not covered.
But woe to those who came on Reid’s show, AM Joy, with that b.s. They were summarily put in their place, as evidenced by the clip below, showing Jen Kerns from the conservative Washington Examiner:
Reid peppered Kerns with questions like a prosecutor, and the whole “story” summarily fell apart.
Reid concluded by saying, “There’s actually nothing about the deal that’s controversial, and the only reason we’re talking about it, per your admission … is that the RNC [Republican National Committee] would like for us to be talking about it.”
The woman could only nod her head and look done.
Moral? Don’t come for Joy unless she sends for you.
