In her characteristically irreverent style, on Tuesday, model-actress Slick Woods made another stunning reveal. This time, she seemed to announce a cancer battle (h/t Madame Noire), posting a group photo on Instagram with the cryptic caption:

“How I feel about chemotherapy, shout out to everyone that gotta go through it. #atleastimalreadybald”

While no further details about her potential diagnosis were given, if true, it’s another dramatic turn in what have been an action-packed two years for the 23-year-old. Along with the stratospheric rise of her modeling career, between 2018 and 2019, Woods gave birth to her first child after going into labor on the Savage X Fenty runway, celebrated her mother’s release from a decadeslong prison sentence, the launch of her jewelry line Be Civil, starred in her first critically-acclaimed film and appeared on Love and Hip Hop Hollywood with boyfriend Micky Munday (also pictured in her post, above left).

Though cancer is no casual matter, the Fenty Beauty ambassador made it clear she doesn’t consider herself a victim—and we shouldn’t, either. After posting an adorable photo of 1-year-old son Saphir with the caption “Stop treating me like a victim,” Woods doubled down with a glamorous red carpet shot, writing: “Modern day Gia without the drugs #justcrazy ‘where does everyone go when they have to go’ I thought I told y’all I’m not no victim.”

We know you’re no victim, Slick. We’re also wishing you the best of health and a full recovery.
