Meeks posted a Snapchat as he was escorted through the airport: โIโm sick of this shit. Iโve been denied. London donโt want me here having served my time. Shit is crazy.โ
Before Meeks was turned away, his manager, Jim Jordan, said he was interviewed, fingerprinted and searched. Jordan also stated that Meeks had the proper documentation, which included a work visa and a letter from his parole officer.
โWe went into the U.K. and we went through immigration and they detained Jeremy. He wasnโt arrested, but they deported him out of the country. They wouldnโt let him come into the country. He is really upset. He was police-escorted onto the plane,โ Jordan told the Daily Mail.
Jordan plans on visiting the U.S. Embassy in London so that his client can be admitted into the country.
Meeks went viral in 2014 after Stockton, Calif., police posted his mug shot on its Facebook page. He served two years in jail for felony gun charges and one gang charge, and since his release, heโs been booking modeling gigs.
