Celebrity news site TMZ reports that it has obtained pictures of Bill Cosby from 1980s supermodel Janice Dickinson, who claims that she took Polaroids of the TV icon shortly before he sexually assaulted her—an accusation that she went public with in an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday.
Here’s part of Dickinson’s description of the alleged incident, in which she describes being drugged before being assaulted: “Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping his robe and getting on top of me.”
On Wednesday Cosby’s attorney, Marty Singer, issued a statement in which he called Dickinson’s story “a complete lie.”
On Friday TMZ published the photos—which depict Cosby wearing a multicolored, geometric-print bathrobe—and reports that according to Dickinson, “She took these Polaroids of Cosby in the hotel room after she took the pill but before she blacked out. You see Cosby lounging in the colorful patchwork robe.”
Cosby has never been criminally charged in connection with sex assault allegations, and the photos have not been offered as evidence in any criminal proceeding.
The release of the photos follows an interview with Bill Cosby and his wife, Camille Cosby, that aired Saturday on NPR, in which the comedian was described as merely shaking his head “no” to questions about sexual assault allegations; and the release of a Nov. 6 interview with the Associated Press in which Bill Cosby declined to answer questions about sexual assault allegations by saying, “I don’t talk about it.”
Since Saturday several new accusers have come forward with accusations, Netflix and NBC have canceled or postponed upcoming Cosby TV projects, and TV Land announced that it will no longer air The Cosby Show reruns in syndication.
