Miss Virginia Wins Miss America Crown

A 22-year-old Miss Virginia has been selected as Miss America 2010. Caressa Cameron walked away with the top prize, selected by a jury that included conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh. She is the seventh Africa-American woman to win the award. Cameron, a student at Virginia Commonwealth University represented Virginia in the pageant, having won the state title earlier. When asked what to do about child obesity in the interview portion of the competition, Cameron answered: "Take away the TV, take away the video games, set some standards for our children!" Miss Cameron is a resident of Fredericksburg, Virginia and graduate of Massaponax High School. She receives a $50,000 scholarship for winning the title and another $1,000 talent award for singing "Listen" from the film Dreamgirls.
